@DarrenArsenal1 At what point do we start worrying about the stadium expansion being primarily tied to PSLs ala Real Madrid and most American stadium seating? Just putting this on everyone’s radar so it can be stopped before it starts as it was a big uplift to Real Madrid’s financials.
@DarrenArsenal1 Also of interest is the building they purchased on Hornsley rd … maybe access to Holloway road tube station which makes that a functional options for match days.
@DarrenArsenal1 Reality is going to be quite difficult. I envision adding 6 rows in front which I think would net 12k seats based on benfica mods (lowering pitch/ digging down). Fill half the wave at corners = 5-6k. Expansion of club/vip is more difficult which is where the real money is.
@REDactionAFC How many season tickets that have come available have they redirected to third party authorized resellers rather than people on the season ticket waiting list in the last 3 years? Asking for regular and club level season tickets.
@DarrenArsenal1 That was my point … there is something they could do but they have chosen not to because of money. Which is their right to do. It just makes the story about the club feeling “angst” and “nothing the club can do” a bit disengenous.
@DarrenArsenal1@qazplmwsxoknrf I will add that there are many stories where people were told the wait time was much shorter than is reality. My sales rep basically indicated in 2022 absolutely no more than a season’s wait yet 4 years later I’m still in the 600s. Hence some of the frustration.
@DarrenArsenal1 Any info on how many club level tickets have been redirected by the club to authorised resellers in recent years? They are within their rights to maximise profits but when they keep collecting waitlist deposits saying things like 2-3 years to clear list … that seems wrong.
@now_arsenaI So … I didn’t see a lot of empty seats. However, It was/is definitely quieter than last year. The ticket exchange is chronically and hopelessly broken. The club is lacking someone who has a reasonable understanding of how and why tickets r / r not allocated to actual fans.
