in the last two years there have been two sci-fi action films where the post credit scene was shown in a trailer and now said post credit scenes will go nowhere because the movie flopped
@noblesixswife I've always found it interesting how John speaks to Linda in the books and thinks about her. When you read First Strike specifically, you can see him being slightly more affectionate with Linda compared to the others in different books. Also Linda reminds me of Tex from RVB a lot
Marcia Lucas has sadly passed away at the age of 80.
She won an Oscar for editing the original STAR WARS film, where she was described as the “heart” of the film who brought the magic alive.
@alexredcrown I'm a TLOU 2 type of trailer fakeout believer tbh. I could see it being Gaz, but they just replaced him with Ghost to sell hype. The way Price responds in the trailer feels pulled from another scene, as does Ghost's. Like, it may even be two entirely different conversations.
@noblesixswife The Covenant was the biggest threat to humanity in the lore until the Flood was discovered. Although the Covenant is a more common enemy in Halo, the Flood are the true villains of Bungie's Halo games.
@noblesixswife The Flood, Bungie purposefully uses the Flood sparingly so they do not lose the horror element, but the Flood is written to be the end-all, be-all of the Halo universe. In Halo 3, the Covenant is ended two missions before the end of the game.
