We are deeply grateful for this investment in the health of Western Canadians by @GenomeAlberta, @GenomeBC, @BroderickHeart, @Trail_ABSK, and key partners.

This $750,000 grant allows us to dramatically improve access to cardiovascular genetic care for Western Canadians living with -- or at risk of -- genetic cardiomyopathy.

Less than 15% of patients with cardiomyopathy have received clinically indicated genetic testing, placing them and their family members at risk. Genetic testing improves our diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic ability for patients and their family members.
