@Amerifinn67 If they don't think Korpisalo can handle the starting role then i think Howard would be a good pickup in the off-season on a 2 year deal. I don't know about their goalie prospects but it could take them 3+ years to be NHL ready. I like the howard idea though.

I wonder if #cbj will still trade Bobrovsky and go for Quick. It could still be an option. Quick would give them goaltending for another 4 years ( when healthy) and is a beast in the playoffs. Would also be good if they just let Panarin/Bob walk and reevaluate their team

Hear me out, this may sound crazy, I can see Stone going to Carolina in a deal centered around Pesce+. It would have to be a sign & trade to work obviously. It just came to me and it makes some sense. Carolina gets a scoring winger and Ottawa gets a young piece with lots of term

@dmack1966 It's ok though. I'd rather have a team that plays rough and tumble hockey. Who needs skill and speed when you can win with truculence and sandpaper. Give me Orr and McLaren instead of Nylander and Gardiner. Give me 2018-2019 Lucic or fire Dubas #LeafsForever

@dmack1966 How dumb can you possibly be to think that this is on Dubas? Dubas isn't the one making Babcock play Hainsey more minutes than Muzzin and Dermott. Dubas isn't the one making Babcock staple Marleau to Matthews wing and Nylander one the 3rd line.

I still would like to see an optimised line up and I'd like to see less ice time for Hainsey and Zaitsev. I'd also like to see Babcock give Holl another couple of chances( although the chances of that are just about zero)

You know. As much as I don't like Babcocks coaching decisions right now, and as much as i want them to get home ice against Boston, I think I'm still going to try and not judge Babcock too harshly until I see what he does come playoffs #LeafsForever
