@doggtism Especially if the bit individual was rabies vaccinated—and if that individual was not rabies vaccinated I am questioning why they were allowed by the state to interact closely enough through their place of employment to get bit in the first place

[🦜 @Leafstem1]

@doggtism Yes things are not always cut and dry and euthanizing to test for rabies is very standard with wild animals—what I’m questioning is why not do a quarantine given this is an animal documented being around humans for years??

[🦜 @Leafstem1]

@doggtism Honestly your thread seems to lack general compassion and empathy. The “most ethical decision” was not what occurred. There were other avenues that could have been explored.

[🦜 @Leafstem1]

@doggtism Yes it appears everything was quite legal but saying “it was legal!” And it’s “the owners fault!” ignores such a morally grey area. This squirrel was part of this family for 7 years. :( Yes he was fat but I’ve seen fatter cats and dogs and lizards and birds!

I had the honor of creating this cover for @forcefatalezine, a charity fan anthology celebrating the women of Star Wars! It's a gorgeous book made by many talented artists, writers, and cosplayers 💖

I mentioned going to a Taylor Swift concert to my psychiatrist and this man goes “YOU’RE a SWIFTIE???” And then proceeded to tell me I seem like more of a “punk rock type of person” but then said he too is a Swiftie.

[🦜 @Leafstem1]

@danieloest You’re right—my apologies for the disrespect. Love our girl

As much as I love all the Star Wars content nowadays, I must say I miss the days of being united as a single fandom focusing on a single piece of Star Wars media
