Fans have voiced their displeasure at the end of the game at Eden Park.

It’s been reported and video has emerged of fans throwing bottles onto the field towards Ash Klein and the officials as they came from the ground.

That’s abhorrent behaviour and anyone identified should be banished from our game as there’s no place for it.

Newcastle have defied expectation and knocked the Warriors out in straight sets!

In a game riddled with more errors than points, Newcastle have come away with a very tight 12-10 victory at Eden Park, earning the right to fight Penrith for a spot in the Grand Final.

The stage is set for the Hostplus Queensland Cup Grand Final, after the Redcliffe Dolphins defeated the Burleigh Bears in this afternoon's preliminary final.

Doubles to Jake Averillo and Trai Fuller helped the Dolphins break away after a tight first half, with a lead of just four points.

Will enter the NRL’s concussion protocols with associated 11 day stand down period - though being Category 2 the option to return earlier is open to him. If the Sharks advance would be in significant doubt for next week but not a certainty to be unavailable.
