Yesterday I wrapped up my college baseball career as well as my playing career. I was reflecting on some things that I wish I knew coming into college or somethings that I would tell younger players interested in playing college baseball. So here they are in no particular order⬇️

I’m convinced our mental health as a society would be so much better if we stopped spending so much of adulthood trying to appear composed, and instead became a little more like this group of kids at the Cards game last night who reminded us joy is contagious and growing up is a scam.
$16 per person to attend a HS baseball playoff game. Then we wonder why kids don’t attend - the association has priced kids and families out of going to these games ! HS kids should never pay more than $5 for any event at their HS and they should NOT have to use a stupid APP!
@jstewartIndy The last time we were in town, we got yelled at for a block by the saxaphone guy for not giving him money as we passed on the way into Harry and Izzy’s. At noon on a Tuesday. With our kids. We used to spend so much time in Indy. Its ruined.
Yesterday, I graduated from Indiana University.
This institution helped me find my voice in sports media, introduced me to some great people and taught me valuable lessons along the way.
