After a lot of thought, Iโve decided to step away from softball.
Over the past several months, I was fortunate to have opportunities to continue playing, and Iโm truly grateful to the coaches who believed in me and reached out. After a lot of reflection and tears I realized that my decision wasnโt about finding the right program but it was about realizing my passion for the game just isnโt what it used to be.
Iโve also learned that I no longer want to be part of the drama that can come with the sport. Iโm thankful for the memories, the friendships, and everything softball has taught me.
Thank you to every coach who invested time in me and to everyone who has supported me throughout my journey. A couple videos of where it all started are below and where I fell in love with game. Special thanks to my pitching coach Allison Porter and hitting Coach John Cronican whom spent countless hours with me over the last 10 years. Iโm excited to see what comes next.
Didnโt need to wait a month. Added 1 mph 2 days later. Slowly working my velocity back. Goal is to get back to 58-59mph consistently and top at 60mph.
Today I made the most difficult decision of my life and have entered the transfer portal. I am looking for my next opportunity and still have 4 years of eligibility left. If you are looking for a player that can contribute immediately please reach out.
Last trip to the Scenic City and I will miss it! I shut down pitching due to an injury but can still help at the plate. Took advantage of my ABs. Went 5/9 w/2 2Bs 2 HRs 6 RBIs. Iโll save you the whole video of my 14 pitch 6 minute at bat but the last pitch is the last video!
