Just finished castlevania legacy of darkness (the second one on the N64), and honestly, it is actually kinda nice, like 8/10. Really thought I wouldn't like it as much as I did.
It gotta be among the castlevania games with the most platforming in it tho
It's cool that SF6 has the feature of storing control settings with a name tag like in smash but having to set it up for both sides for each name tag defeats the purpose of convenience a lil' bit
the fanmade castlevania 1 SNES port getting a graphic overhaul is making me wanna play the game again, I hope the SFX eventually get to sound less muffled tho
@peegeray I guess if you hadn't figured out that landing cancels the air attack animation and can't execute or don't know the spells, it can be bit difficult. But even then, "brutal" is stretching it.
Ended up having to pay the equivalent total of $92.12 (product+import tax) for a lossless adapter because the shipping got the thing 2 dollars above the tax free import limit😔
The jump in soundtrack quality from FE1 to FE Gaiden is wild. Really thought a lot of these tracks were just from echoes before I listened to the original famicom tracks.
I hope that the avatar game is a sign of what's to come, when I go back to old games or smash I'm reminded that going back to neutral (the best part of fighting games) often is much more fun than a strongly structured game flow where the oki is always clear and consistent.
It's true that no matter if digital or physical, you're only sold a license when you buy a game. But the importance of physical is to have the option to make it as impractical as possible for them to enforce it on the base principle that this is not a power they should even have
@nauj_px Com certeza eles vão, o negócio de game key card já é metade do caminho, mas a nintendo tem IPs populares o suficiente pra fazer as pessoas aceitarem.
I believe that this push to go full digital isn't just about optimizing distribution but also shareholders pushing these companies to establish their own digital fiefdoms where they can consolidate and uphold absolute power over how people can consume entertainment.
I've always thought that devs should go back to old-ass fighting games more often and the new AOF3 version announcement got me happy that there are people at these teams that agree.
A bit ironic that the absolute easiest (it's free tbh) fighters to hit with Marth's tipper sideB4 in ultimate are himself and all the ones derived from him.
Might not be my favorite art style but I'm sorta glad that the ocarina remake looks to be a more daring reinterpretation considering the original is so available that it might soon be playable on anything that can run it.
