Und von welchen „Abstimmungen“ ist hier eigentlich die Rede? Ein Scheinreferendum unter dem Stiefel einer Besatzungsmacht – ohne unabhängige Beobachter, ohne freie Presse, während Millionen auf der Flucht sind – ist kein Wahlzettel, sondern nackte Erpressung.
Dass dieses Schmuckstück an verdrehter Logik überhaupt noch unhinterfragt funktioniert, ist kein Zufall. Es ist der perfekte Köder für eine Armee aus nützlichen Idioten, Kreml-Trollen und Berufs-Verstehern, die gierig jede noch so abstruse Ausrede schlucken, solange sie das eigene Weltbild bedient.

Ukraine did not invade Russia. Russia invaded Ukraine.

Ukrainians are not fighting because Europeans want an endless war. We are fighting because Russia continues to attack our cities, occupy our territory, and kill our people.

I woke up at 6 AM today because of a Russian drone attack near my home in Kyiv.

And now I am reading accusations that those helping us defend ourselves are the ones prolonging this war.

Do you understand how profoundly dishonest that argument is?

If you genuinely want peace, explain how you intend to stop Russian aggression without stripping Ukrainians of their right to defend themselves.

Peace is not the same as surrender.

And demanding accountability from Russia is not warmongering.

Stop blaming those resisting aggression for the aggression itself.

There was a coup d’état in Kyiv in 2014, financed by the US.

The new installed regime banned the Russian language, and the population of Crimea voted in a referendum for their independence against the ban on their native language.

Kyiv then intervened militarily in Donbass in 2014, which triggered the war.
The Minsk agreements then followed. Russia finally intervened in 2022 because there was no other solution to protect its compatriots in Donbass, who had been attacked for 8 years.

Laut einem aktuellen Bericht der Berliner Zeitung, der sich auf die Financial Times beruft, soll Putin Anfang 2023 einen weitgehenden Truppenabzug angeboten haben. Selenskyj soll wiederum abgelehnt haben, weil er auf weitere militärische Erfolge hoffte. Ob Putin tatsächlich zu einem solchen Abkommen bereit war, ist allerdings nicht unabhängig bestätigt.

Sollte sich das bestätigen, stellen sich erhebliche Fragen: Wurde damals eine echte Friedenschance verspielt? Und warum wird Selenskyj von Merz, Macron und anderen Regierungschefs weiterhin hofiert, ohne dass diese Vorgänge umfassend aufgeklärt werden?

Deutschland hat inzwischen rund 101 Mrd. Euro an ziviler und militärischer Unterstützung geleistet bzw. zugesagt. Davon sind laut Kiel Institut allerdings nur rund 41,7 Mrd. Euro als tatsächlich in die Ukraine geflossene bilaterale Hilfe einzuordnen.

Ich will nicht, dass Deutschland in diesen Krieg hineingezogen wird. Und ich frage mich ernsthaft, warum wir immer weitere Milliarden bereitstellen, wenn möglicherweise schon 2023 eine Chance auf Frieden bestand. Wie lange soll das noch so weitergehen? Und wann bekommen wir Bürger Antworten?
