Our @stripe systems were compromised over two weeks ago and still can't find a way for @stripesupport to contact me for a resolution. We've had to create new bank accounts and can't pay our suppliers. This is really poor show, what do we need to do?

[Lean Procurement @LeanProc]

@stripesupport it looks like our business account has been hacked and I’ve requested a call twice in the eight days from your support. I’m at my wits end with worry, please help!

Really like this quote from Deming.

Noticed how you're able to influence a lot better with back-up? Power, in this case expert power from knowledge, leans to those that have done their preparation!

Bought something that was a good deal at the time, just to end up paying more? CIPS L4M7 is about 'total cost', includes warehouse, stock and lifetime asset costs, avoiding hidden costs.

No hidden costs in our current £198 p.m offer :)

@Ishakemyheadin1 @ShireNPolice @AuchterellonS Highway code rule 146 states "Adapt your driving to the appropriate type and condition of road you are on. In particular do not treat speed limits as a target. It is often not appropriate or safe to drive at the maximum speed limit". Hope this helps.

Procurement people should be spending the company's money as though it's their own

Still over ten days until the end of the year, what can be done during this time? It's not how you start the year but how you finish it!

One of our team went into their daughters school for a meeting recently and came across this on her primary classroom wall. Difficulties and challenges will always present themselves (including CIPS examinations!) It's how they're approached that will make a huge difference.

Strategic Sourcing is a bit more than internet trailing on the back of a RFQ! To maximise value into the organisation from procurement, the training benchmark, CIPS, covers these areas and more in the sourcing module, L4M4, ethical and responsible sourcing. Module starts mid-Nov!

The new CIPS syllabus is now well underway. It really has transformed since the days of the Foundation and Diploma Stages! A fresh update is always good. Any students that are currently self-studying and need assistance with the new material get in touch with @LeanProc

The weekend before exam week poses either a brilliant opportunity or a risk. All too easy to fall into your usual weekend mentality and switch off until Monday, after tools-down time on Friday. Having one clear day studying, working hours, makes all the difference!
