The longer I watch this company, the more I feel you are correct. Total incompetence on the part of the leadership of this company for not being transparent on the progress of development. Videos would be great on assessing the viability of what is to come. But I’m pretty sure they don’t share more info because it’s a scam. They will just issue more shares when they run out of money.
@joeroganhq A serious follow up question would be what Youngstown’s opinion of Jim Trafficant was. And why they loved Trafficant so much. I would love to hear his answer.
@SecretaryBurgum@Interior Meanwhile, $NAK (largest copper deposit) is listed publicly for any foreign country to buy on the cheap! I wouldn’t be surprised if China doesn’t have a big interest.
Pebble Coin? Never understood crypto, so haven’t been much interested. But I’m starting to get it. Just a thought, why doesn’t $NAK monetize the minerals in the ground now? Create Pebble Coin crypto and use the minerals in the ground to back the value? Need someone smart to explain why this isn’t a good idea.
I’m a commercial Realtor and a small business owner. It’s a cash flow issue that landlords are better off working with (to an extent) than demanding the $1000. Take the tenants $1,000 and he is not going to pay his vendor. No vendor, nothing to sell. Goes out of business and you are left with an empty building. Of course that is many months of not paying anything and possible bankruptcy. On the other hand, float the $1,000 for a month or two, and perhaps the tenant can get back on their feet. Of course this all depends on the past relationship you’ve had with this tenant.
“These parties” meaning people protesting against the mine, are not stopping it (yet). Only the EPA is stopping it currently, and they over stepped their authority. NAK is only negotiating with the EPA at this point. A barrage of lawsuits will be filed by “these parties” if the veto is lifted. Yet another hurdle to get over. But much much smaller.
I asked Grok- Yes, Alaska has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding the Pebble Mine project. In April 2024, the state filed a complaint in federal court in Anchorage, challenging the EPA’s January 2023 Final Determination under Section 404(c) of the Clean Water Act, which prohibited the discharge of mining waste in the Bristol Bay watershed, effectively blocking the Pebble Mine. The state argues that the EPA’s veto infringes on Alaska’s sovereignty and violates a 1976 land swap agreement, depriving the state of potential revenue from taxes, royalties, and jobs. Additionally, Alaska previously attempted to have the U.S. Supreme Court directly review the EPA’s decision in July 2023, but the Court declined to hear the case in January 2024, directing it to lower courts. The state also filed a separate lawsuit in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in March 2024, seeking over $700 billion in compensation for the alleged loss of economic opportunity due to the EPA’s actions.
Seeing a lot of $NAK commentary on the recent extension and negotiations of the EPA case. What could they be “negotiating”? It’s Alaska’s $700 billion lawsuit against the EPA! The EPA can’t just drop the veto without admitting guilt in the Alaska case.
