Leadership, amidst our own humanity, is challenging and requires self-compassion.

Working out, journaling, quiet time, yoga, meditation, walking in the sunshine, sleep hygiene, and eating nutritiously are practices that support my leadership.

They were all upended by a new schedule.

However, they are practices.

Iterate to keep practicing.

A strong start in a new role includes embracing the awkward.

Have something in your teeth for half a day...

Laugh at your faux pas.

Have a sense of humour about it all.
