@debmondesign @RebeccaSeal She was my first though, but R.Seal seems to be asking specifically for people she thinks are ugly, which Sigrid most definitely isn't. Not sure why she thinks Ed or Lewis are though.
@sav_salty02@saintdoII The fact that there's somebody out there who knows whether or not jewelry has been worn by people on various red carpets is somehow fascinating.
@SaeedDiCaprio Maturity is realising you don't need to call people you disagree with terrible people (straw men don't help win arguments); and a book that millions enjoy is of value whether you think it's of quality or not.
We can argue with her about her beliefs but the rest of this is silly
@BOOK_SHOW1@PropelledPingu @logoff151 @PoorlyAgedWho It does seem to be specifically a subset of Spanish speakers who do it regularly. Probably just because there are so many of them, but it is odd that they assume Spanish rules apply to English and get very assertive about it even though they're wrong.
@PropelledPingu @logoff151 @PoorlyAgedWho There is a weird tradition of well-meaning but ill-ibformed Spanish-speakers making incorrect statements about English words on the internet and getting lots of likes for it.
I worry what will happen if I even mention the "USA isn't America" thing...
@BadDragonite0@TsuyuIsATryHard@thearchiveghost @fayemikah You keep using "go to war" as evidence that a 19-year-old is an adult when the obvious conclusion is that the the law is completely messed up in this regard.
@EllenFlem If she's from Boston why isn't she just speaking with a Boston accent the whole time. Is she faking a different accent or what? Pls explain for an ignorant foreigner
@sophielouisecc If you don't like rishi's version of torydom, you aren't a Tory. You're a poor person whose morals are getting in the way of my dreams!
@Gingerboab123@MarkFlynnSNP@DundeeCouncil Than reporting selfish drivers who are breaking the law? Than helping his constituents use bikes safely and easily, as they should be able to? What part of this is not very obviously a good thing?
@tweets_marks @MartinSLewis Its not 40% of their earnings though, is it? Its 40% of their earnings over a certain amount. An amount that nobody requires, and which tends to be made off the work of others (ie high up the chain). If we want a decent society, govorvment money has to come from somewhere.
@BBCLauraKT On what world is that ood idea?? I wouldn't be annoyed about shopd closing, workers always deserve a day off - but *appointments for cancer patients*?????? What the fuck??
@BBCLauraKT Presumably this only applies during the period of mourning? Or, more sensibly, at actual royal events during this period? That seems fair to me, protests at funerals would be quite distatseful.
