The Learning-Focused Instructional Framework connects the “education dots” so you can focus on what matters most — helping every student be successful!
School leaders: More feedback ≠ better feedback.
Focus on ONE instructional move that will make the biggest difference for students.
One priority. One next step. One follow-up.
What’s harder: choosing the ONE thing or resisting the urge to share more?

Are the same 3 students answering every question?
Try this: Ask → 30 seconds to write → Share.
Every student gets time to think, and you get a better picture of their understanding.
💬 SAME FEW or EVERYONE in your classroom? Why?

I agree! Ownership is a huge piece of the puzzle. I also think leadership plays a critical role in creating the conditions for follow-through. When professional learning is supported by intentional opportunities for implementation, reflection, and feedback, it becomes part of the ongoing work rather than a one-time event. That’s where meaningful growth happens!
PD shouldn’t end when the training day does! 🎯 Here are 3 ways principals can keep professional learning alive all year and turn instructional strategies into consistent classroom practice.

Sunday Reset from the lake.
A little perspective before the week begins:
Are we seeing students working, or are we seeing evidence of learning?
A question worth carrying into Monday.

@yogeshp_x Absolutely! I think one of the biggest challenges is sustaining that initial momentum. Even the best professional learning can lose its impact without intentional follow-through. I’m curious, what do you think is the biggest barrier to keeping that momentum going?
@chaostheory_xyz Such an important point! I think this is where school leadership plays a critical role. Teachers need time, opportunities, and support to put new learning into practice. I’m curious, what have you seen leaders do that actually makes a difference?
Recognition isn't the same as recall.
Tomorrow, try a no-notes exit ticket: one question that asks students to retrieve what they learned.
What would you ask? 🧠
#TeacherTipTuesday#RetrievalPractice
More review ≠ more learning. 🧠
Retrieval practice helps students strengthen what they remember—not just what they recognize.
What’s your go-to classroom review strategy?

Want more students thinking instead of the same few doing all the talking?
Small shifts in how we ask students to respond can make a BIG difference.

More questions ≠ more thinking.
The better question: What kind of thinking are we asking students to do?

Teachers… you might be working too hard. 👀
This week: do less. Let students think more.
Where can you hand the thinking back? ✏️
#SundayReset#TeacherTips#Teachers
A classroom walkthrough shouldn’t start with judgment. It should start with curiosity.
Don’t just ask, “What is the teacher doing?”
Ask the students, “What are you learning?”
That answer might change what you think you saw.

Sunday Reset ☕️
Before you start planning for the week ahead, ask yourself:
What do my students need to learn next?
Start with the learning. Then plan backward from there. 🎯
Because learning doesn’t happen by chance. It happens by design.
