Nurture Learning

Ramblings from the head of a tiny, attachment-focused, therapeutic independent school, based in Worcs with outside space & a fantastic building for learning.

[Kim Golding @KimSGolding]

@LearningNurture It was a privilege to work with such a committed staff group all carrying the best interests of their students in their hearts and minds.

What an amazing 4 days we’ve had, the first UK school to have all staff trained at level 1 DDP with an education focus @KimSGolding it’s been a total privilege and now we are so talking with the same narrative and so confident we know why!

[Dr Jennifer Nock @jennifer_nock]

Huge congratulations to Rohit Naik, HT at Hope School in L’pool, who has received an OBE for services to education. So well-deserved! Rohit has worked tirelessly to promote attachment and trauma sensitive practice, at Hope, locally and nationally. Honoured to share his journey 😊

[Louise M Bomber @theyellowkite]

Let’s not compare a child who has had good enough care with one who has lived trauma. Foster and adoptive parents know the difference. The cries, the terror, the distress, the outbursts, the time it takes to recover…..it’s intense and so different #fellowtravellers @AdoptionUK
