@Culture_Crit Lists like this should really consider NYC/metro distinct from the rest of the state. Our Lady of Victoria Basilica in Lackawanna and Blessed Trinity in Buffalo are both amazing buildings <and I say that as a very low church non-conformist 😁>
I’ve been in St Kilda this week hearing about the impact avian flu is having there, in particular on the Great Skua. More on @BBCScotlandNews and @bbcnaidheachdan through the day. Thanks to team @StKildaNTS https://t.co/309dxarfe6
This handsome chap is known by the locals in Torridon as Callum. He's very curious and likes to say hello! Who's spotted him on their #NC500 travels? 🦌 Remember - deer are wild animals so enjoy from a safe distance and don't feed them 🦌 #NorthCoast500#VisitScotland
Did you know that Loch Maree is the largest loch north of Loch Ness? The islands within the loch are home to remnants of ancient Caledonian Pinewood dating back 8000 years. Some of the Scots Pines here are over 350 years old 😮

It gives me tremendous pleasure to say that my dad (who, God help him, once had to train me) has just been elected into the @mastercarvers Association, by a jury of his peers. Making him one of only 40 Master wood and stone carver's in the UK.

@masonmennenga The Religious Society of Friends <Quakers> originally believed/taught this in the 17th century; by mid 19th century, the more common in the wider Christian world Word = Bible had taken over, but there are still a couple small groups of Quakers who equate Jesus & Word of God.
