It's hard to find positive stories to cover. Every once in a while we get glimmers of hope & inspiration. I choose to focus on so many wonderful and touching highlights of the past!
That time Obama surprised Vice President Joe Biden with the Presidential Medal of Freedom ❤️
LMAO. Hunter Biden just destroyed Donald Trump.
“My dad at 81 years old secretly got on a military aircraft, went to Ukraine, took a train for 16 hours to Kyiv as the first President of the United States to go into an active war zone. Donald Trump fits his fat ass into a food cart truck and brings his work wife with him instead of the guy that carries the nuclear codes."
George Conway on Natalie Harp: “We’re talking about this on the basis of whether or not they’re having sex. That would be better if they were just having sex, at least you could understand that, but this is psychotic. She worships him as some kind of deity and he sucks that up and is using her as a tool to create and maintain his own fragile reality”
Carney: "This was not our choice. We were ready and close to having a comprehensive agreement that would be fair to both countries. But they made changes, including threats on the French language and Quebec culture and Canadian culture. That is not acceptable. That would never be acceptable."
@JoJoFromJerz She’s taken over where Loomer left off as caretaker. Everyone (mainstream media and both parties) are implicated in circumventing the 25th Amendment if she’s a full time caretaker for the current president. Far better for all concerned for her to be cast as an obsessed mistress.
Psaki: The reason I asked about Natalie Harp is because it’s kind of raised this question out there. More questions about her. He is surrounded by sycophants, no question. I just talked about that. But you specifically mentioned her, and I just wonder why.
Ossoff: Well, I’ve heard this particular aide referred to as his security blanket. And I think we could say that about any number of the senior aides in the White House. They’re not telling him what he needs to hear. They’re telling him what he wants to hear. And the nation is at war, and we cannot afford that. We need a team in the White House—we need folks at the State Department, at the Defense Department, in the United States Congress who take their jobs seriously.
Those sailors out on the Lincoln, they do their jobs with excellence and dedication every single day. They didn’t sign up for luxury. They signed up to defend the country. And the president, surrounded by enablers in the West Wing, is playing golf, is trading stock, and is decorating his ballroom. It’s a disgrace.
In 2000, 7-year-old Tyrel Wolfe from Idaho packed a shoebox with Christmas gifts for a child he had never met. Before sending it through Operation Christmas Child, he slipped in a photo of himself dressed like a little cowboy.
Nearly 7,000 miles away in the Philippines, 8-year-old Joana Marchan received it.
She kept Tyrel's photograph.
Eleven years passed.
In 2011, Joana remembered the boy in the picture and searched his name on Facebook. She found him. Tyrel barely remembered sending the box at first, but when Joana described the cowboy photograph, everything clicked.
Messages became long conversations. Friendship became something more.
Tyrel eventually flew to the Philippines to meet her. He returned home, worked extra hours to save money, then made another trip back. This time, he asked Joana's father for permission to marry her, speaking to him in Tagalog.
Joana moved to Idaho in September 2014.
On October 5, 2014, they married on Tyrel's parents' cattle ranch, almost exactly 14 years after one small shoebox had traveled across the world and quietly connected two children who had no idea they would meet again.
At their wedding, they asked guests to pack more Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
The gift Tyrel sent at seven years old had eventually brought its recipient back into his life as his wife.
