The Arab Cultural Club held a "Love of the Book" poster contest during the 65th Beirut Arab International Fair (Nov 23-Dec 3, 2023). Sara Wassim Fakih won among 121 participants. LIU's campuses will display 11 posters at the book fair's exhibition hall.

The LIU family is saddened and grieving the martyrdom of our alumnus Issam Abdallah, class of 2012. He was targeted in South Lebanon by the Isra.eli occupation forces while carrying his responsibilities and journalistic duties.

Issam will always be remembered as an exemplary student, a true friend, and a professional photojournalist. We pray for the eternal rest of his soul and to give his family, friends, and colleagues strength during these difficult times.
