🇱🇧 🇮🇱 There’s more going on away from the negotiation table than around it: 🔹Israel is planning a bid round in 2021 putting northern blocks on offer and has extended Block 72 into disputed area. 🔹Lebanon is looking into amending its EEZ decree to extend its southern border.

Interesting that in this new map 👇, Block 72 now appears to extend into the 🇱🇧/🇮🇱 disputed area… The *initial* disputed area that is. Because new claims put most of it within the disputed area.

🇮🇱 🇱🇧 The Israeli Ministry of Energy has updated the map featured in the announcement of its planned fourth offshore licensing round. The northern limit of #Block72 no longer extends into the (initially) disputed area.
