Governors from the Ohangwena, Omusati, Oshana, and Kunene regions are on a week-long working visit to Angola's Cunene and Huila provinces, aiming to strengthen Namibia's agricultural sector.
Delegation head Kadiva Hamutumwa says Namibia and Angola must capitalise on decades-old bilateral relations to achieve economic emancipation and self-reliance in food production.
Hamutumwa added that the visit will serve as a blueprint for partnerships expected to deliver tangible development, including food security, enhanced production, and job opportunities in Namibia's agricultural sector.
The visit is the result of a partnership between the Namibian government and Jardins Da Yoba, a specialised agricultural firm in Angola.
