Turns out, the chairperson of the Scalabrini nonsense NGO is a member of the Immigration Advisory Board inside the Home Affairs committee.
His name is James Chapman 😳😳😳
Is that not a conflict of interest type of bias????? How did the Concourt not pick that up?

UPDATE: The submissions have now been sent to Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs. Thank you to everyone who participated.
The next step is to allow the Committee reasonable time to respond. I will follow up formally and publish any response we receive.
In the meantime, please continue signing and sharing the petition.

We are building a digital paper trail. The petitions, emails and submissions matter because they document that South Africans tried every available democratic channel first.
If the day comes when we take to the streets, there must be a clear record showing that we wrote, petitioned, engaged Parliament and asked for accountability. We exhausted the channels available to us. @PConHomeAffairs@ParliamentofRSA
SOUTH AFRICANS: If you’re concerned about what is happening with our asylum and immigration system, don’t just complain on X. Let’s formally put Parliament on record.
I’ve drafted a submission requesting the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs to investigate the handling of the Scalabrini case, Immigration Advisory Board conflicts, asylum-system capacity and implementation of the Constitutional Court judgment.
Please read it first and check if I omitted anything
The email and email addresses of all the members of the committee 🧵👇
So you’re telling me South Africa is willing to document people who entered the country illegally, while those same countries wouldn’t document South Africans who entered their countries illegally? Make it make sense.💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔😒😒😒
From Monday they’ll be documenting spaza shop owners as asylum seekers. Economic migrants in South Africa are asylum seekers and refugees. WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY DOING?! This is pure madness. 🤬
This publication by @HomeAffairsSA means that:
Everyone who is in the country illegally can claim asylum
The Country doesn't have any quotas or limits on the number of Asylum Seekers to accept.
This Country will implode, schools will be congested, Hospitals will be flooded, service Delivery which is already non existent will stifle.
Patriotic South Africans must challenge this in court on an urgent basis.

Now I have more QUESTIONS why is this post deleted.
SOUTH AFRICA can you see what is happening? WAKE UP!!!!!
they are pushing POLICIES, behind your back! WAKE UP!!!!!
So, it turned out to be true. A few weeks ago I raised alarm at the @Our_DA@CityofCT announcement that it was selling Annandale Farm for private development.
The land was purchased in order to address the housing crisis in Dunoon - Annandale is directly opposite Dunoon.
I said I believed the land had been purchased using USDG - grant funding - and selling it would be a breach of the grant conditions.
My PAIA application confirms the land was bought with funding meant to support housing development for the poor. No housing was built but now it’s being sold for private development and at a profit!
I’ve written to the Minister @The_DHS
Disgraceful. We need a moratorium on all sales of public land. That’s my commitment for day one.
A 24 Year old lady who was raped and went to open a case in Kempton Park found herself being attacked by the very same people who had raped her because she opened a case! They tried to kill her and Ofcos there’s no way they could’ve gotten this information of the case unless someone leaked it to them‼️ She further goes on to say these ppl who went as far as trying to kill her didn’t sound South African…
And we have seen a number of people complaining about the Kempton Park Police Station… now we need to know what South African Government and South African Police Service Plan to do about those rotten police??
