Beauty and The Beast starts off with Gaston stalking Belle throughout the town, not taking no for an answer. When Belle's father goes missing, she offers to sacrifice herself. The beast becomes her captor telling her she'll have to stay forever. Right away he demands her to have dinner with him. She says she would rather starve. He tells her to go ahead and starve. When she won't come out of her room he threatens to break down the door. Later, the beast rescues her from a pack of wolves. Once her abuser holding her captive, the dramatic incident makes him completely change his ways. Gaston, her former stalker, kills the beast. But Belle's tears of love resurrect him from the dead. The beast morphs into a handsome prince. His former abuse is completely forgotten and she will her dream life live in the castle happily ever after.
