“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” -James 3:17
“If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.”

Man...another school shooting this morning. I don’t claim to have the answers, but regardless of where you stand on gun rights, something must happen to protect schools and like environments. We can’t become numb and accept this as a new norm.
Reading books about basketball doesn’t improve your jumper. Shooting does.
Reading books on running or weight-lifting will not get you in better shape. Exercising does.
Reading alone will not grow your faith. Walking in faith does. Your faith is a muscle that needs use to grow.
“With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” - James 3:9-10

"Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds." - James 2:18
