Remember Meg and Mog? Great to revisit old favourites, although this particular title is a new one for me. I love the way in which Mog’s eyes convey such a wide range of expressions.
Just been to Weston-super-Mare with Agnes, Hattie and Jake, an unlikely trio, who are all hiding something. In ‘Asking for a Friend’ by @KateMallinder the story ebbs and flows between them, and is a delightful read about unexpected and true friendship.
Could now be the perfect time for Ian to start his own brand of artisan foods, starting with the aforementioned wild garlic pesto? I’ll have two jars, please! @BBCTheArchers
‘Then, suddenly, when Ben could hardly see, he saw clearly (...) you couldn’t have impossible things, however much you wanted them. He saw if you didn’t have the possible things, then you had nothing.’ Philippa Pearce, A Dog So Small - So, what is possible?
Excellent and thoughtful radio programme about children's books past, present and future, Wonderlands

Full of heart, humour and a delicious love triangle…💗

Confessing everything, 3 May.
‘Paris, it seems, was the beginning of letting go of who I was and grabbing hold of who I was to become.’ Absolutely loving ‘Paris Letters’ by @JaniceArtShip - a true story about following your creative heart. Merveilleux!
‘Maybe the only thing I need to remember is my name, who I love, and what I love about life.’ Wise words from ‘chronic list-maker’ Quinn Jackson, in the very engaging ‘Excuse Me While I Ugly Cry’ by @joya_goffney
@sarahwebbishere You are very welcome 🙏 thanks for writing it. You really evoke a wonderful sense of place in these three books. Makes me want to visit Little Bird Island - it feels like a very nurturing place.
This evening finds me on the tranquil island of Little Bird in West Cork with Aurora and a dolphin 🐬 called Click. Part of the delightful ‘Songbird Cafe Girls’ trilogy by @sarahwebbishere - btw, the cafe serves great hot chocolate and brownies - yes indeed!
