The Royal Courts of Justice has quashed a 1984 inquest’s open verdict into the death of 15-year-old Mark Billington found hanged in woodland 10 weeks after he went missing while out playing. Citing fresh evidence and new witnesses, the High Court has ordered a new inquest.

Glue boards still wreaking their misery on wildlife. Don’t understand how anyone can use such barbaric devices. Although there’s a ban on public use, not enforceable until 2024. At least then it’ll officially be a #crime 😡 thank goodness for @TiggywinklesUK #wildlife #Cruel

Unfortunately, when this Kestrel came in his chest area & right wing were covered in glue. Our veterinary team managed to remove the glue & he will spend the rest of his recovery in one of our outside aviaries until he is well enough to fly and fend for himself out in the wild.
