Hello Charley, this sounds like a common "Address Poisoning" or "Dusting" scam. Please be assured your Ledger Nano remains secure. Here is what happened:
1. The "Phantom" Tokens: Scammers use malicious smart contracts to simulate transfers. They "send" worthless tokens to your address to get your attention.
2. The Disappearing Act: These contracts are often coded to allow the scammer to "burn" or revoke the tokens later. Additionally, Ledger Wallet automatically filters out known spam tokens and malicious contracts from your history to keep you safe, which is why the entries may seem to "vanish."
3. No Security Breach: No one can delete history from the blockchain itself, and simply receiving these tokens does not give anyone access to your assets or private keys.
Crucial Safety Tip: Do not attempt to swap, send, or "clear" these tokens. Interacting with them is the only way the scammer can trigger a malicious request. As long as you ignore them and never share your 24-word recovery phrase, your funds are safe.
