Flirting

[Stretford Paddock @StretfordPaddck]

🚨🗣️ BREAKING via @FabrizioRomano - Antonio Conte speaks on his future: "My name has been linked with numerous clubs, but there are currently no negotiations at an advanced stage.

"Following a wonderful and successful spell in charge of Napoli, I will take the time I need to consider how and when to return to management. It will be a carefully considered decision, one I will make when I believe the conditions are right.

"I have read reports of financial demands and requests for full control that I have supposedly already made to the clubs mentioned, as well as reservations about what has been described as my “strong personality”. These reports are unfounded, as there is currently no concrete basis for such assessments.

"Should a concrete opportunity arise, that will be the time to hold discussions with the club concerned and jointly consider the terms of a potential agreement, with due regard for both parties’ needs and the qualities and approach that define my work as a manager.

"Until then, any assumptions about my demands and my professional future remain speculation and cannot be treated as fact."

Obvously if Emre is available all day long...

But I'd rather Howe over the rest

[Dan @BigMeatie]

Carrick came in, got the players to buy in, did a great job.

Players got convinced to stick around that may have been looking to leave as they got assurances that the club would back the manager and invest in the summer.

Window ends with net 1 extra midfielder and Rashford who doesnt want to be there.

Big personalities and leaders feel like theyve been misled, manager feels like he's been let down, and the energy around the club falls off.

Its not rocket science. Carrick may not be the solution, but he's not the problem.

Rotten.

[Mo @kashmirfc]

So many on here saying Wilcox out. Yes they haven’t made the best decisions but do you want them to magic money. They are still paying for the inherited mess

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@Povey34 Have i missed something.. only saw TeleFootball who are not the best

[Jimmy McBride @jimmymcbride1]

If you think Fabian Hürzeler would have been allowed to grow his fake hair in peace at Old Trafford like he’s done at Brighton then think again the media would have been all over it & that’s just one of the reasons Man Utd is way too much more than a football job 🧑🏻‍🦲 💔🤍🖤

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

I'll take shit for this but out of that list its Howe...

[utdreport @utdreport]

#mufc's shortlist to replace Michael Carrick:

• Eddie Howe
• Kieran McKenna
• Antonio Conte
• Fabian Hurzeler
•Julian Nagelsmann

I think we are at a point where the season could be saved...

Need a change before the weekend imo.

See is Howe will take a shorter contract

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@UtdNadd How are we going to pay for these?

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

Think this will be in a few days IMO

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@AdamJoseph Not when his job is on the line..

You'd be stupid to put that on the shoulders of young lads

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

Anyone think that INEOS won't want Howe as he was Dan Ashworths choice?

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@talkSPORT Whos Scott Saunders?

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

If we get beat off Leeds i'd 100% go for Howe.

Seems to get the best out of average players.

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@MrTomMcDermott I'm torn...

I was happy with the summer signings.
Yes would have loved a Left Back and Striker but its be shown we do not have the funds
What were the board ment too do. More credit?
Not defending them. Spending money on players we don't have money for caused the shit we are in

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@jimmymcbride1 Have we Jim...
Think a good propotion of the fans were happy(ish) with the summer window.

Yes we would of all loved a new Left Back.

But Ugarte and Rashford caused massive issues.

We did not have the funds to buy anyone else.

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@SwedishRumble I took his comments as its was against everyone including Carrick.

Lose to Leeds. And Howe will be in the door by Halloween

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@Povey34 Think Howe would be a better shout imo

[Rob Dawson @RobDawsonESPN]

No one is saying the Man United squad doesn’t need to be improved. It does. But the money isn’t there to do it quickly over a couple of windows. That’s on the Glazers, not Wilcox, Berrada or Carrick. If Martinez wants to win more games then maybe don’t get stomped on by Solanke.

[MUFC 1980 @Lee50258028]

@FergieStandards I think he's disillusioned at the lack of players
