@alzheimerssoc Can you imagine sitting with your parents after a recent diagnosis and watching this come up on the TV. The narrative needs to change - people need to reach out and include people with dementia in life not write them off as dead before they die.

Yes, sign languages are beautiful but did you know hearing parents are told not to sign with their deaf children by hearing professionals and have to fork out thousands of £ of their own money to learn to sign and to talk to their own kids? #SignLanguageWeek
