Sunday is the anniversary of the devastating Morocco earthquake that UK USAR deployed to. To raise money to rebuild a learning centre in Ijoukak a small team is returning to undertake a charity hike to some of the remote villages in the Atlas mountains that UK ISAR helped.

The #UKISAR DS team, including our National Training and Assurance Coordinator- Paul Courtney, have safely landed in Singapore to participate in an Extreme Hot Weather Exercise.

Our dedicated DS team are now busy preparing for the arrival of the rest of #UKISAR Team members to commence this challenging exercise.

During the INSARAG Team Leaders meeting in Singapore, various suppliers of search & rescue equipment were given the opportunity to exhibit their products, including new and old options.

#UKISAR team members were able to witness demonstrations of the equipment showcased.

Yesterday, after a successful day working in partnership with @WFP_Malawi and The Malawi Defence Force, the entire #UKISAR team returned to their Base of Operations (BoO).

The Malawi Defence Force is also ensuring the safety of everyone at the BoO. #collaboration 🧡

A large number of areas in the Nsanje District are still difficult to access. Today, part of our #UKISAR team has assisted in providing essential food supplies to more than 61,000 displaced individuals in the region #Malawi 🧡
