I’ve seen what happens when coaches, parents, and players rush the process—it rarely ends well. And when it falls apart, the blame gets placed everywhere except where it belongs.
Let kids be kids. Let them grow, learn, and enjoy the game without pressure stealing their love for it. Development isn’t a race—it’s a journey. Trust it. @TeamSpeightsFL
I’m not sure what’s going on in Westminster Athletics but I don’t stand behind it. Fired to Head Coaches in one year. One who has been there for YEARS at that is insane. My heart is broken as an alum! @WestminsterMO@WCBluejays
"I'd rather blame parents than AAU. I think parents today, are way too involved in their children’s careers as far as growing up.
The parents need to just sit in the stands, enjoy the game & let the kids develop ... a love for the game. 20 years ago, I never dealt w/ parents."
Of course the first defensive possession of the season for Houston ends up in a shot clock violation. Great ball and player movement from Lehigh. Doesn't matter.
One of my favorite sets from #eurobasket25 Germany runs a Horns action initiated by a Zipper entry. Opposite elbow sets a flare and immediately takes a handoff to get downhill. Lots of .5 decision making
