Good!! I’m excited to see Hillsborough County Doged. They are taking advantage of the taxpayers w/ their water charges. The more water you use, the higher your per gallon rate is. That is unacceptable. It punishes people with big families, multigenerational families, gardeners, home canners, and is another form of “taxing the rich”—in this case punishing people who have a large piece of property.
@RepThomasMassie That’s like saying it’s my first amendment right to beat someone up because I don’t like them. Or it’s my first amendment right to steal someone’s belongings because I believe it’s wrong that they have more than i do.
@kevinolearytv I don’t believe Musk will be satisfied with anything but getting his way. He seems to have a hard time getting along with adults who aren’t in their 20s. It’s a shame. Because he has so much money, he’ll never need to be self reflective.
@libsoftiktok I was wondering how long it would be before the leftie loonies took a tragic weather event and turned it into a way for them to spread the lie that the National Weather Service is so understaffed because of streamlining the agency.
“In court on Wednesday, the Justice Department argued that the current accessibility services offered by the administration — including live closed captions and written transcripts – are sufficient in providing the deaf community with “meaningful access” to White House information.”
@SenDuckworth It was blocked because they are already eligible for SNAP benefits. The Democrats offer hundreds of meaningless amendments that take hours to get through. This done out of spite and to create drama. Also to slow down the inevitable. But mostly just spite.
@GrindeOptions Elon should have been providing that service in love for his country, not because he expected favors in return. The American people have thanked him profusely, as have Republican politicians.
@PeteButtigieg I’ll just take on one of your lies. Medicaid is not the problem. Rural hospitals have been closing for years—even with Medicaid expansion. It goes back to the DRGs in the 1980s and culminates with Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
So that’s how many people per state who should not be collecting Medicaid? Wow. So that’s how many able bodied with no dependents to physically care for are not working? And that’s how many illegal immigrants are collecting medical welfare benefits? Wow. It’s worse than I thought.
The senators are worried about their campaign $. The American Hospital Assoc. is rich and powerful. They contribute to political campaigns and spend millions on lobbyists. The reason none of this Medicaid stuff is passing is the hospitals don’t want to provide indigent care to the illegals who show up. They want the federal taxpayers to pay for them through Medicaid. The hospitals do like treating the illegals, though. Then they can bill Medicaid millions of dollars
