Our prayers to Sadie Downs, a 16-year-old student athlete from Mooreville High School, who was diagnosed with an unusual form of stomach cancer known as gastric adenocarcinoma earlier this year. Her family made a post updating her condition recently and, put simply, they say Sadie needs a miracle.

The family posted the following:

It's hard to gather our thoughts right now so I'm just going to post the text I sent to a few people from scans yesterday.
Well, definitely not what we were expecting yesterday. He said its gotten worse and basically spreading all in her abdomen. He's changing her chemo to a pill form and basically if it doesn't work, that's all they can do since the tumor is inoperable.
Her stomach is filling back up with fluid again since Friday, so they're talking about putting a drain in so we can just open and drain it off ourselves. We have to go back today for albumin and then back Monday to discuss and go over the new chemo.
So basically our baby needs a miracle
