@kittysull1 About as carefully conssidered as your copied and pasted post.
When people of all political persuasions are agreeing with the widely despised Blair, you ought to realise that he might have a point.
@GavinBarwell Okay then. On that basis, why aren't energy prices in most other western countries anywhere near as high as ours?
Of course it hasn't anything at all to do with having excess taxation, incompetent government, and a regulator that regulates for vested interests and not consumers.
@Keir_Starmer When you've got people of all political persuasions agreeing with someone as widely despised as Blair, you really ought to realise that you're wrong!
@wesstreeting My god you're thick. If you clowns stop wasting our money, then we can have lower taxes, more money to spend, creating jobs and wealth, which in turn raises the tax take.
More tax means less jobs, more on benefits, and those that are able, either by skills or wealth leaving.
@ShepherdWales Don't you believe it. He, and many others in Westminster will do virtually anything to get the opportunity of a seat on the Brussels gravy train.
@darrenpjones Says an MP that voted against investigating the grooming gang scandal.
This has nothing to do with child safety, and everything to do with control and indoctrination.
@ColinBrazierTV Of course, it doesn't occur to this ghoul that his statement also applies to the other side of the argument. Let alone the possibility that many have realised that were we to rejoin, it would be on very different, and less favourable terms to those we had before we left.
@YvetteCooperMP Nothing says keeping up pressure on Russia than easing sanctions on Russian oil, eh!
And whilst we're at it, how about you show the same concern about are borders that you do with Ukraine.
@lancelachlan Were those wanting to rejoin told that we wouldn't be carrying on from where we left off, and there'd be no rebates, opt outs, and would have to accept the Euro?
If not, go take the survey again, and I'd wager that the percentages would be somewhat different.
@patmcfaddenmp So, the highest rates of taxation since WW2, the regular minimum wage increases, and with ever increasing regulation on business has nothing to do with it then?
@nathansldennis@patmcfaddenmp In the EU, currently only four countries have youth unemployment rates below 10%. The highest is 28%, and the average across the bloc is 15.4%. Is brexit to blame for that too?
@NDIronsMP You mean that you are pleased that Labour aren't going to hike fuel duty beyond the rate set by the last Tory govrrnent, for now, at least.
If Labour wanted to ease the cost of living they'd cut it rather than giving a few crumbs to those with children for one month.
@DrHoenderkamp@DailyMailUK I have been under opthamology for three years, and was refered to the specialist with view to surgery in January 2025. Assuming that appointment isn't cancelled, I'll see the specialist this Wednesday. Then beyond that, how long is the wait going to be to actually be treated.
@ukhomeoffice How many have neen rejected?
Of that figure, how many have been, or given notice to be deported?
And of that number, how many have gone missing?
