[Asset Manager Wake Up Call ⏰ @AM_WakeUpCall]

Vanguard is doing everything in its power to cover up the growing contingent of customers who know that planning for the future means accounting for growing climate risk. 🙄 #VanguardSOS

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

@AM_WakeUpCall Thank you @eqat for trying to engage @Vanguard_Group and making visible their go-slow approach with respect to escalating climate disruption. #VanguardSOS

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

Media liaison chops! @eqat

[Ben Phillips @benphillips76]

How to do a media interview while being carried away by police for protest. 10/10, no notes.

[EarthQuakerActionTeam @eqat]

On Fri 10/7, we're going to bring Quaker worship outside the home of Vanguard CEO Tim Buckley, praying for Buckley to come under the weight of the climate crisis and for courage for ourselves as we seek to pressure Vanguard to change course.

Incredible action last week at @Vanguard_Group HQ!

On 9/21 - Eight activists with @EQAT and @xrphilly were arrested at Vanguard headquarters in Malvern, PA after being refused a meeting to discuss Vanguard’s poor climate record.

Can anyone point me to stores in the #Phildelphia area most likely to sell a decent neoprene whitewater #kayak spray skirt?

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

Happy Pi day everyone.

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

@duanalla Just enjoyed the double meaning in G Pardlo's "Wishing Well" of "old school" telling the wisher "throw your bread on the water" which maybe refers to Ecclesiastes 11:1 but "bread" also means "money" as I recall from childhood in the 70s.

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

@DavidDark Points for transparency?

[Gillian Hamilton @gill_r_hamilton]

Yes @SaraCookBelfast 🙌

Happy to hear that @emilybazelon is reporting in north and west Philly today. If any #ElectionDefenders run into her, give her a little love. #joytothepolls

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

It's a beautiful day in North Philly for voting! #electiondefenders #joytothepolls

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

Good morning North Philly! You look beautiful today at the polls. #ElectionDefenders #JoyToThePolls

@dtbusiness @DelcoResists It was pretty disappointing to see @VFWHQ hosting hate and white nationalism in our neighborhood in Ridley PA. Our children have never been cursed at and intimidated in that way, but then again we are a white family.

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

@daviddark See @dtbusiness on August 1 for what happens when white nationalism comes to one's neighborhood.

So much creative resistance! I have never wanted to be a theater lighting director so much in my entire life. https://t.co/Kr7NimoEWe

[Waging Nonviolence @wagingnv]

In Richmond, Virginia, out-of-work theater lighting directors “turned their love light” on a controversial statue. https://t.co/5ZbqXeBwx5 @splcenter @illuminator99

@Stoxo And America is thinking of you Stocki. (And by America I mean me ... And Jude ... And a bunch of other people).

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

@Stoxo Hang in there Steve! We're rooting for you!

Update: Just went for a walk this evening, and we noticed that mail came unusually late today (after 4-5 pm?). My mail-in ballot DID arrive. Thankfully, I am able bodied and will be able to walk the ballot to my polling station tomorrow. Please, I hope to mail my ballot in Nov.

[Lee Smithey @LeeSmithey]

It's official here in Delco @delcocouncil. No mail-in ballot arrived. I presume others will also have to file a provisional ballot at a polling station tomorrow. That is, those who are able. https://t.co/7RNIaZTzvA... @PAStateDept
