@theoldzealand I've had people at work laugh me off at work, for saying Cape Verde are capable of getting beyond the group stage. Well they qualified to the next round albeit from 3 well earned draws, I'll take that.
Some of the beasties from Cyprus today. Swallowtail Butterfly, African Green Mantis, Mediterranean Banded Centipede and Mediterranean False Widow Spider. No Tarantulas ๐ญ despite lots of stone flipping.
2 maybe 3 new species today. Cyprus Scops Owl, Common Quail and maybe Baltic Gull. A sudden movement of Hirundines and Swifts along with a Cuckoo all north was fun on Aspro Dam, stopped when I got the counters out obviously. @birdsaroundcy

Just a couple of moths found on porchlight at the hotel. Idaea distinctaria, Rusty-dot Pearlย (Udea ferrugalis) and Yellow Belle (Aspitates ochrearia).

@PafosFCsupport Full marks to lads for trying to overcome the goal difference. If only they could have held on in the last 15 20 minutes against Chelsea.
One last wander bird watching in Faro, Portugal. Wintering Osprey a lovely bonus and 1st-winter Med Gull. Greenshank, Redshank and Black-winged Stilts always a delight.
