@terracepodcast@ShaughanM@Fraser_Clarke The football at Forfar has been dull and uninspiring for a long time (before and during Weir’s time), but the main issue for negativity at games seems to be a wedge between fans and some of those involved at the club, with it getting bigger every year.
@HitTheByline@OfficialCatchup Unfortunately there are a number 100% from Forfar, as there are ones that people I know recognise their face in the town.
Obviously either way they’re still nothing but absolute morons. It’s been escalating weekly ever since they’ve been put on a pedestal by a certain vlogger.
Following the abandonment of yesterday’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup match with Montrose, we can now provide an update on Evie Swann.
Firstly, DUFCW would like to thank Montrose, their physio staff and the paramedics who attended for their assistance.
Midway through the second half, the defender was involved in a collision that required treatment, however due to concern with pain, the decision was made to not move her until an ambulance arrived and subsequently the match was abandoned.
We are delighted to confirm that following scans, Evie has been given the all clear this morning. She will now return home to follow concussion protocols and we look forward to seeing her back on the pitch.
Nice to be pitchside again despite the result for Dundee United this afternoon.
On the plus side, a joy to watch Falkirk’s Brad Spencer play, one of my favourite ever midfielders in a Forfar shirt!
🥹 Hey strangers! In June I was diagnosed with incurable cancer. My treatment didn't work & now have v. limited time left with Ellla. Please make the most of the time you have with the people love. If you can spare anything to go to Ella for when I'm gone I'd be so grateful ♥️
Thank fuck that season is over. Staying up is absolutely a relief but let’s not go over the top considering we stayed up via goal difference.
A season to forget rapidly.
I would love to be wrong, but we look nowhere near good enough to claw back an eight point deficit at the bottom, or win the play off.
The next five games are absolutely crucial and we need to be winning at least three of those to give us a fighting chance.
McCallum set for 300
Marc McCallum made his 299th competitive appearance for the Loons against Elgin on Saturday.
The Loons no. 1 is set for his landmark 300th appearance for the club if selected to play against his former club Peterhead tomorrow.

If he can help turn the club away from the Highland League drain we have been circling for three years, then fantastic, but we will need a massive overhaul to do so.
Could have been worse, but it’s a very 🤷♂️ appointment for me.
@rw2711@DuncMcKay Along with about 90% of our support! Our board were all open arms to welcome him back, even spinning it as “Ray wanted to stay at Forfar and is committed to the club.”
McKinnon being emptied by the club has been a long time coming but the damage may already be done.
This next appointment absolutely has to be the correct one and not a cheap option, we are still circling the drain to the Highland League.
Club Statement
The Board of Directors of Forfar Athletic have tonight dispensed with the services of manager Ray McKinnon.
Everyone at Forfar Athletic wishes Ray well for the future.
