@JustinPugh Thank you for this. My take. NIL is not NCAA or schools. The NCAA could have avoided this by implementing rev share or stipends years ago. Chose not to. NIL is free market not school or NCAA funded. Therefore, scholarship/transfer rules should be same as for any other student

@todd_brosius Amen. The issue is that there is a double standard in the first place (which swings over time). It's silly. The simple solution is the standard should be the standard. Regardless of affiliation: Don't do wrong. If true, be held accountable. Same rules we all live under.

@mcuban So, 1. We elect Congress and entrust them to enact laws in the interest of all of us as our representatives. If we don't trust them to do their jobs properly, elect new reps. 2. It is ONE view. Not perfect. Get others. 3. I "trust" Big tech/businesses to maximize owner value.

@mcuban 3. Big tech (assuming privately held or publicly traded) are platforms of speech presentation and amplification and should be able to set own standards of what is permitted or not within boundaries (see above). Gov should have limited regulation w/o restraing trade.
