The £1.5 million scheme carried out essential repairs to areas of the channel, as well as creating some new public seating at the corner of corner of Bristol St & Cross Stamford St.

@StuartLong01 The gates are partially open and due to fully open later today. They may close intermittently over the coming weeks to allow for further works and testing, but some flow will be maintained.

@StuartLong01 Hi Stuart. The gates were partially closed to safely secure the final coir rolls and scour protection so that new vegetation on the bank isn't washed away. Flow was reduced but still present in the goit throughout.

Finally in Zone 15 #ApperleyBridge - The section of Apperley Road by the George and Dragon pub has now been reinstated and is open to all 📸
