@AlexJJNorris Don't you think justice for those families and releasing the thousands of people trapped in dangerous buildings might be a more appropriate action than having a "think".
Honestly, you're as hopeless as your Tory predecessors.
Happy to build, build, build & let us rot and burn.
Empty, hollow and hurtful words from your colleague @TracyBrabin
This will be why Labour will end up getting voted out.
Blatant performative lies whilst normal people suffer every day!
Eight years on from the Grenfell Tower tragedy we remember the 72 people who lost their lives and keep in our thoughts those who lost loved ones, the survivors and immediate community.
We must ensure what happened at Grenfell Tower is never forgotten and never happens again.
@Keir_Starmer@AngelaRayner A safe and secure home is still a distant dream for hundreds of thousands of innocent leaseholders across the country.
We're still waiting for change.
Pity you forgot about our plight in last year's King's Speech after all your support in opposition.

❗In its manifesto @UKLabour pledged to “take decisive action to improve building safety” and “put a renewed focus on ensuring those responsible for the building safety crisis pay to put it right”.
❌ Now @angelarayner chooses to protect developers 👇

@mhclg ... And postponing the building safety levy. ❌
What developers want, developers get.
Meanwhile, up to 3 million people remain trapped in dangerous, unmortgageable & unsaleable flats.
*Slow clap*
❌ Yesterday the Govt POSTPONED the building safety levy.
❌ Today they're giving more money to developers to build shared ownership flats, which they call 'affordable housing'.
❌ Another kick in the teeth for victims of the building safety crisis.

Asked Lords Minister today about PAS9980 and sky high insurance costs for leaseholders. Insurance companies not convinced buildings now safe. Why doesn’t Government act to help?
72 people died at Grenfell. No-one, and no firm has been prosecuted and no-one has lost their job as a result.
Over 2,400 other tower blocks are similarly dngerous.
The government will need to respond on all these issues.

If there's going to be a memorial to Grenfell, let's make it the removal of flammable cladding from the hundreds of buildings that still have it eight years later
The security and safety of a home remains out of reach for so many families.
We’re tackling the housing crisis head on – for everyone who needs a safe home.
Our Plan for Change will drive up living standards and build 1.5 million homes.

@AlexJJNorris@mhclg@LincolnshireLRF Would be great to see some photographic evidence of you working on building safety!
Doesn't seem to be a priority for you or this government.
“No excuses to not build 1.5m new homes, Rayner says” - more evidence of why @mhclg @AngelaRayner remain in denial about the scale and impact of the #BuildingSafetyCrisis on new homes delivery. https://t.co/sJyptWtZAu
I think freeholders and the government thought leaseholders weren't listening or looking, but they were, and now everyone else is too. Some simple choices to be made here.
Grenfell demolition meeting an ‘aggressive car crash’
✍️ "It is understood that some families did not receive letters and the timings of some engagements changed at the last minute, leaving some to view the process as shambolic."

Grenfell Tower to be demolished, ITV News can confirm.
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner told bereaved and survivors about the Government’s decision at a meeting tonight.
The news was met with upset and anger, with some calling for the decision to be reversed.
Truly appreciate @lewis_goodall for giving me the opportunity to speak for the 5.3 million leaseholders.
@UKLabour promised to end leasehold in their manifesto.
They need to stop the delays and resource this agenda.
Or we will see disaffection with them and democracy grow.
