@larianstudios A bit of an odd ask, but I am baking a cake and was curious if there are higher resolution textures of the side of the Necromancy of Thay? I'd noticed the patterns along the spine, but wasn't sure.
Also, if you had to choose: What flavor of cake would you go with?
Managed to accidentally scandalize a coworker by recommending she try the Bacchanal in Vegas next time she goes. π
She googled it but left out the Vegas part.
H "It's an orgy!"
M "A *different* kind of buffet." π
@OfficerCharon I had been taking the time to run coax to a few spots so that whenever the internet gets installed, the lines are properly routed and should have appropriate grounding for the primary line. Eventually there'll be a few Cat6 lines for a KVM as well.
This will be a bit random, but I'd like to say a thank you to CDPR for creating a particularly well made ending in CP2077. Thanks to that ending; I've stuck around long enough to see my 35th birthday today. Hopefully there's at least a few others out there that can say similarly.
Okay, I have to give props to whoever took the time to add this into their mold design. They could've cheaped out with a sticker, but instead they opted for the extra time and effort to carve it into the block. Kudos!
Fallout 76 is the only game I've encountered where you might say "Oh goodie, an inbound nuclear strike! Lemme go get my missile launcher; It's time to go shopping!"
My first time wandering the blast zone, my guns were too weak. Second time in? Brought the launcher and cleaned up.
@WhiskeyGingrr Oh, I already told a coworker that he only bought himself a week, then it'll be brought up at the meeting next week, because his initial excuse was that it's only been a day. I'm trying to look out for coworkers and help improve the shops performance, apparently that's a problem.
Got some pushback from my manager today, saying that I had overstepped by asking if he'd checked on something/spoken to someone regarding an issue he said he'd look into, because he hadn't responded yesterday. I was literally just asking for a yes/no, but he decided to get upset.
Call me crazy but if you say you're there to help the techs, but then get offended when the techs ask about that help. Maybe don't go around spouting that particular line, because someone may hold you to it.
So the customer gave me a 3080 Ti as a thank you for some of the work I've done, and I now face a new issue: Can I even fit this thing into my current PC case, or will I be forced to grab something with more room?
...and if he tries to stop you from submitting ideas, X is who you reach out to afterwards. I can get you their contact information if you need it. The fact that you need to worry about repercussions for this is reprehensible."
I presented a resource and flashed my ass at the same time.
Our lead: "I'll have to run it by our supervisor, and see if he's okay with us using it."
Me: "I'm sorry, but the resource says that it's available to *all* employees. If he has a problem with that, it's irrelevant...
Well, I'd been putting off getting new glasses for a while. While *cleaning* them last night, they decided to force the matter. However I've also learned that my HSA covers a lot more than I initially believed.
M "I'm just saying, it's a bad variable: His hand-tight is going to be different from mine."
CW (joking) "Man, fuck you. You see these guns? I've been working out."
"Maybe, but these forearms were forged from many lonely years. Our grip strengths are at *very* different levels."
I really have Matthew Ebel to thank for some of my life choices. Be it "Lost My Way" or "I wish I were" there's more than a few tracks that have inspired action.
