John Gosden has hailed the strike action that British racing is taking
🗣️ "I suppose they might recognise that we exist. Sometimes you need to point out that we do exist. A lot of racecourses are in urban areas, just look at Aintree, Epsom, York and Chester.
"It’s not all rural but the horses are trained in rural areas and it’s whole communities in employment. If you want to kill communities and create a lot of unemployment, if they do what they’re talking about, that’s exactly what will happen."
I see govt are releasing the 2024 sewage dumping numbers tomorrow, the day after the budget, or as our American cousins would call it Take Out The Trash Day.
As the media will be focusing heavily on all things budget it's the perfect day to bury all the sh*t you would really prefer people not to notice. Nice try.
PS. I hear they're horrific.
PPS. And now you know what all the activity has been about the last few weeks, the national tours, the banning bonuses, the jail sentences, all unlikely, all in vain attempt to create a smokescreen, all completely pointless. Nice try.

Peach pancakes Swap out milk and use juice from tinned peaches and add 1/2 can chopped peaches. We also added ginger. If you haven’t got c of t, or vicar of soda, use heaped teaspoon of baking powder
How much does it cost to grow a pancake
food production in the uk is more important than ever in these trouble times
we need an amnesty for people who are not going to live seven years from IHT

⚠️Alongside @BIIandBIIAB, @UKHofficial, and @HospUlster, we have found looming April cost increases could force 70% of hospitality businesses to reduce employment.
In light of these stark findings, we are united in urging Government to work with our sector and delay employer NICs threshold changes so that hospitality can continue to boost the economy.
📈Hospitality has been one of the top contributors to economic growth and the last thing the Government should be doing is piling on costs that will impact workers and investment.
The BBPA backs the Government’s growth mission, but we can only drive the economy if they make it easier to keep pub doors open and the pints pouring.
