@AdamGell It is more of a fun quirk. Can be useful when testing a large installer and if you want a message when it's done.
I've never used them on live devices, but I can see the /qb! Switch being used for available deployments, so users can see a progress bar, but no Cancel option

Did you know that, when performing the installation of an MSI, you can use /qb!+ or /qn+?
! is to disable the 'Cancel' button during a /qb install.
+ is to display a message when the install is complete.
Give it a go!

FYI - The Dell third-party software update catalog code signing certificate expired 5 days ago. If you're publishing. You might run into issues with newly published Dell updates.

BONUS: I have also created my first GUI - it will allow you to specify app names and it will generate the ps1 and JSON needed for the custom device compliance policy for you.

Recently, I had to create a custom device compliance that can check multiple apps, instead of just one app.
I have written a script that has the ability to:
👉check the app(s) version
👉 check for app(s) presence
👉it can also do the checks on HKLM or HKCU apps.
