Baby Nikita deserved so much better. A 4yr old suffered and died while the systems meant to protect her failed her. Neighbours heard her screams yet help came too late. Government do better.Protect them now, not just mourn them later. We will not be silent.@duma_boko@BWGovernment
Families are stretched thin. Many are jobless. Many are going hungry. And instead of help new charges? It feels like the burden always falls on those who can least afford it. This isn't right.

"She fought for her life and now she faces prison? Where was the protection when she needed it most? You make laws, but you don't stand with us when we're afraid. Promises speeches but where is the change. If you can't protect us, what are you there for?

Today police deployed SSG during a long stand off to arrest Moeladilotlhoko a serious situation unfolding publicly
At the same time many are troubled those who promised change, who stood against unfair treatment and silencing voices when in opposition are now being accused of doing exactly that to their own critics and people who speak up
And we also hear Tshepo Sethibe will be transferred to Letlhakeng Prison raising fresh questions about fairness and how our justice system works
Power changes hands but true leadership means keeping your word, treating everyone fairly, and protecting freedoms no matter who is speaking
#Botswana #Accountability #Justice
We see SSG deployed in a long standoff with Moeladilotlhoko you doing exactly what you once condemned the BDP for turning against your own critics and people who trusted you and moving Tshepo Sethibe to prison so why are you doing this to Botswana, why are you torturing our people and hurting this whole country when you promised us so much better, why turn into the very thing you fought against, why break every promise you made us WHY?
They stand in Parliament and call OUR fear a lie and that hurts more than anything
Minister Butale says people are fabricating threats of ritual killings He says we are weaponizing anxiety that we are faking persecution to get asylum But what does he say to the families who have buried their loved ones To the women and children who have received threats To the communities living in genuine fear
Ritual killings are a documented painful reality in Botswana They are not a story we tell for a visa They are not a scheme They are happening And when our own government dismisses them as fake they are failing us twice once by not stopping the violence and again by calling the victims liars
The visa decision was not caused by people seeking safety It was caused by a failure to protect us Dont blame the people running away blame the situation they are running from

LESIDI MOLAPISI IS FREE BUT WHAT ABOUT US?!
Her name is Lesedi Molapisi and her surname matters not because it makes her different but because it proves we are all the same we are all Batswana our surnames mean nothing when we are all crying out for the same thing
they moved mountains for her in Bangladesh they called they pleaded they used every diplomatic channel to bring her home and that is beautiful that is what leadership should be
but tell me where is that same fire for us right here at home
they talk about asylum they talk about people running away but they wont talk about why we are running
GBV is tearing us apart and it is ignored
people are vanishing and no one answers
ritual killings are happening and they call it a lie
if Botswana can fight this hard for one of us across the world then Botswana MUST fight this hard for ALL of us standing right here
we dont want special treatment we want equal justice
we want the same protection Lesedi got
we want the same urgency
we want the same respect
her freedom is a victory but it is not complete until every single Motswana feels safe in their own country
justice for Lesedi!
justice for the missing!
justice for the victims!
justice for ALL of us!
WeAreAllMolapisi BatswanaWakeUp OurLivesAreReal JusticeAtHome EndTheSilence!
Sethibe confused and exposed the system they arrested him for speaking up about missing people and ritual killings they changed the charges to silence him our justice system is broken and they are hiding the truth we need answers we need justice for the missing we will not be quiet?!!
Her life was cut short just like so many others before her GBV is everywhere it is real it is deadly they say nothing they do nothing while we keep burying our own we are tired we are hurt we want justice for her and for every woman who was never given a chance
Check out Ofentse trileX's video! #TikTok https://t.co/1QVin9gGRh let us all unite & say no to GBV. Our sisters, mothers, aunties & friends are dying because of GBV
It is heartbreaking that in Kgatleng District overall medicine availability sits at only 43% Vital medicines are missing Essential medicines are missing
People with chronic conditions are being let down! Families are suffering when help should be there. We cannot stay silent!! Every person deserves to be treated Fix the supply Protect our people. #KgatlengCares #MedicineForAll
UNICEF Botswana and the First Lady should not stay silent when our children go missing. They are supposed to protect them. We demand answers. We demand action. Baby Boitshepo matters. Every missing child matters. Speak up now!
"Botswana deserves better. Mental health struggles aren't just personal they're tied to poverty, jobs, and the daily hardships people face. Our hospitals need proper resources NOW
It's bittersweet Fewer lives lost on our roads is progress, but the sharp rise in violent crime is heartbreaking Safety shouldn't be a tradeoff. We need both and we deserve better!!!
