Right so Keir Starmer has reduced immigration by over 70%, kept us out of the Iran War, massively boosted defence spending, reduced NHS waiting times, and started growing the economy again.
But we should sack him off for Burnham in under 2 years because Manchester has £2 buses?
@zero_enoch@TheoryNinety@PolitlcsUK Maybe some. But if it's a promotion to a significantly more stressful role, and you are in effect paying almost 50% in tax (incl the 40p rate, NI, student loan etc)...it all makes you think a bit.
Almost 50% of the 2 million social houses Thatcher sold off are now back on the private rental market, at nearly twice the rent had they remained social housing. And in places like London, around 50% of social homes that still exist are occupied by foreigners. Total treachery.
British taxpayers funded these developments only for hundreds of the units to be bought by Asian investors.
Property should not be a commodity for foreigners to extract rent from.
The neoliberal housing market consensus must be ripped up.
Almost 4% of the entire German population are asylum or protection seekers, one percent of the population is Syrian, and almost 5% of all Syrians live in Germany. In the age group of under 5 year olds, over 40% have a migrant background.
This is unprecedented demographic change.
This policy is a lie btw. Real "one in, one out" means NO EXTRA illegals. Total number stays the same.
The UK-France deal does the EXACT OPPOSITE, it's "one out, one in". Every time an illegal is sent back to France, we accept another in return. The total just keeps increasing.
@InfoPaulnews@JohnTurner5@Tomobiffo@KayBurley Wildfires happened less in the UK historically because we never used to be so prone to severe drought and subsequently ultra dry grass, foliage etc. This is what is changing.
@InfoPaulnews@JohnTurner5@Tomobiffo@KayBurley It's more about the conditions that enable fires to be so widespread (eg severe drought). Many parts of the UK have only had two brief patches of rain in months. Wildfires don't just start spontaneously because it's hot, never have - except if there is a lightening strike etc
@commontruth_ Funny how the "patriotic right" in the comments use this to attack the NHS and its principles, as opposed to why it's actually in this mess: mass immigration.
