What this article shows is that the Optics Left openly seek to deprive Green conference of its policy-making powers. They know a haphazard collection of vaguely-defined "groups" and thinktanks (assembled by party officials, not members) will be far easier to control.

@OfSymbols Also, "strategy" is in service to an ideal. Bastani's ideal society is one where like 3 million people are in prison, with jaywalking or speaking loudly on the bus being punished with a 5 year stretch. He doesn't want the same world as me, why would I listen to his strategy

@mikeyjcs @patpryce @RachelCDailey_ I ran as a Green candidate in **May 2024**, when I had a full-time job. I was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses in 2025 and was made medically redundant in 2026. You do realise that a lot can happen in 2.5 years, yes?
