@JonahDispatch Sent 2 kids through good Arlington public schools. Unions protect bad teachers but a good school has few of them, whereas a poor inner city school may have more of them because it’s a less desirable place to work. Getting rid of unions doesn’t change that.

@KeithNHumphreys I think it’s due to social media and 24 hr news as much as individuals. But Trump has made everybody look better in retrospect. Never understood visceral hatred of Obama. But plenty of people hated FDR, Kennedy, Reagan.
