Illegal immigration is not a South African problem it is an African and global problem. The question for us as the African continent is how do we deal with that. We must deal with the root cause of this, where people leave their country’s en masse. It is not only African people, we have European and Asian people coming into our country. We must ask ourselves how did they go through the countries of departure without the correct papers. This is a global crisis, that requires government to formulate a response to this.
