Legacy is disheartened to see the proposed #PublicChargeRule finalized by the federal government, which penalizes legal immigrants for utilizing public assistance programs such as food stamps, government-subsidized housing, and Medicaid.

We thank Rep. Price Sen. Buckingham & @TxeHA for passing SB670 which Gov. Abbott signed on 6/15. It allows FQHCs to provide telemedicine/telehealth/tele-pharmacy to Medicaid patients, increasing access by connecting providers & patients over internet. #TXLege
