Friday was another sad day at Legal Help Centre as it was our summer students' last day. We are so grateful for all of your hardwork and compassion shown to clients. We had some fun, some frustrations (the printer!), and "the shorts". 1/2
Sad day here as we bid adieu to 2 amazing staff who have moved onto better things :(

Yesterday morning, Legal Help Centre gathered with the Community Legal Education Association and Info-Justice to discuss best practices, to share notes, identify trends, and ways to work together. It was a great morning.

When COVID hit we changed our service model from in-person clinics to telephone & virtual appointments. This year we adopted a hybrid service model, combining in-person clinics with phone appointments, & are able to reach more people & increase access to justice! Silver lining!

It's take away Tuesday! We have some lovely previously owned furniture that we no longer have use for. It's yours for the taking as long as it's gone by Aug 31. We will also accept donations for these exquisite & possible antiques.

Overall, clients surveyed felt that they were satisfied with LHC’s services. Over half of the participants (65.7%) strongly agreed or agreed, while others were neutral (13.4%) about their responses. On contrary, 20.4% were dissatisfied with the services.
